Engineering Engagement Framework
Terms and conditions.
The legal framework governing engineering scopes, hardware prototyping, and customer workspace access.
Effective date: 10 October 2026
1. Engineering Scopes & Engagements
All hardware engineering, firmware development, PCB schematic design, and RF prototyping scopes conducted by 4TECH Engineering are governed by confirmed technical requirements. Submitting an inquiry, project brief, or idea studio worksheet initiates a technical review and does not constitute a binding contract, quotation, or delivery commitment until formally approved in writing.
2. Prototyping, Schematics & Physical Assemblies
Hardware designs and firmware prototypes are supplied for validation, developmental evaluation, and laboratory testing. Real-world physical performance metrics, including RF radiation patterns, impedance matching, thermal dissipation, and battery life, are subject to component manufacturing tolerances, PCB substrate properties, and environmental conditions.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
Client commissioned work retains client ownership of custom hardware schematics, PCB layouts, and project-specific firmware upon settlement of agreed project milestones. 4TECH Engineering retains all rights to its pre-existing core firmware libraries, internal test benches, hardware development tooling, and reusable architecture modules.
4. Client Account Space & Data Integrity
Authorized clients are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of their account credentials. Technical briefs, test documentation, and quotation attachments stored within the client workspace must not contain unlawful material, malicious code, or unreviewed third-party trade secrets.
5. Limitation of Liability
4TECH Engineering delivers engineering services and prototypes adhering to high industry craftsmanship and laboratory standards. Prototypes, developmental boards, and experimental firmware are not certified for life-critical, medical life-support, or aerospace mission applications unless an explicit qualification protocol is specified and certified.
6. Modifications & Governing Law
These terms are governed by the applicable laws of India. 4TECH Engineering reserves the right to update these terms to reflect evolving technical capabilities, regulatory requirements, and security enhancements.
